Waiting area of the future

 (copy 1)

The waiting area of the future is an innovative passenger shelter used at bus and train stops. New technologies are the answer to environmental, economic and demographic challenges. In addition to the current functions of weather protection, seating, information sources and integration of advertising spaces, the project therefore also targets improvement potential: customization requests from cities and municipalities, an improved environmental balance and enhanced appeal of advertising spaces.

In order to meet these demands, the waiting area of the future is a multifunctional system that can be individually adapted to the requests and requirements of municipalities. A choice of modules is available: a green roof, timber elements, film instead of glass surfaces, sitting and standing aids, interaction between passers-by and ads, interactive itineraries, a city app with individually relevant information, changing colors, power supply from solar energy and modules that enable bike- and car-sharing options to be linked with the public transit network.
