In early 2008, our design lines by James Irvine and Dinse Feest Zurl received the iF Design Award: The timeless design line created by designer James Irvine blends harmoniously into urban public spaces. The basic shapes of the individual objects are made of high-quality extruded aluminium sections. A special treatment process makes the surfaces very resilient, while allowing for versatile colour options.
The Dinse Feest Zurl design line – by the Hamburg architects’ office of the same name – adopts an innovative “glass-stone-look” that differs from the typical mix of metal and glass in street furniture design. This look allows the particularly versatile use of the street furniture, both in modern urban landscapes dominated by glass and steel and in the vicinity of stone facades. In addition, the products are available in different colour varieties and with abstract images to blend in with the respective urban environment.
